Yoga and Beach Tennis 7 nights, all-inclusive holidays

Day 1 Saturday

You will be met at the airport by a member of our team and then have a short private transfer to the villa.

Welcome drinks and canapés will be served, giving our guides the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss the programme for your stay. This will be followed by a delicious lunch served around the pool.

After some free time for relaxing you can enjoy a gentle stretching Yin yoga session. Yin yoga is slow paced with passive postures mostly done sitting or laying down. It has very long holds targetting on the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. It is a very relaxing form of yoga.

A barbecue dinner will be served under the ivy clad gazebo in the lower garden. A chance to experience the appetizing aromas and flavours of food cooked over a wood fire.

Day 2 Sunday

Yoga poses

Juices, hot drinks and fruit available before Yoga.
We head off down to the beach for an early morning beach yoga practice, and then have a go at paddle board yoga in the sea.
Yoga on the beach is a glorious experience: enjoy the freedom of doing yoga in swimsuits and then straight into the sea.

We will have a picnic brunch on the beach and then go for the first of the Beach Tennis sessions.

In the afternoon we will return to the villa for some freetime around the pool and then you can enjoy another gentle stretching session of Yin yoga.

Before dinner we will hold a wine tasting workshop, featuring wines from our local region.

Day 3 Monday

Juices, hot drinks and fruit available before yoga.

Ashtanga Yoga Ashtanga yoga involves synchronizing a, continuous and structured, series of postures with your breathing. It features 5 posture or asana series and each must be concluded before moving to the next series. Ashtanga is the most energetic yoga style. or Vinyasa Flow yoga Vinyasa Flow yoga incorporates a lot of movements and endurance. It is based on the Ashtanga postures but in different sequences or flows and with the postures being held for a longer duration. It is a powerful form of yoga and not quite as fast paced as Ashtanga. , followed by paddle board yoga in the pool.

After breakfast we will go to the Indalo Club for the next Beach Tennis lesson.
We have introduced many people to this fun sport and, experienced racquet players or not, they have all thoroughly enjoyed this exciting game.

Lunch will be at the villa followed by free time or the opportunity to have a stroll around the picturesque perched town of Mojácar Pueblo.

Early evening you will have another gentle Yin yoga practice.

Later you can enjoy a cocktail by the pool and dinner on one of the terraces overlooking the sea and mountains.
After dinner why not watch a movie on our outdoor screen.

Day 4 Tuesday

Cabo de Gata Playa de los Muertos

Juices, hot drinks and fruit are served before the yoga.
Your early morning Ashtanga or Vinyasa yoga will be followed by a quick breakfast and then off to the beautiful nature reserve of Cabo de Gata.
The route will take us through the pretty resort town of Mojácar Playa and over the moutains taking in some breathtaking scenery then into the national park where we will take a short hike down to Playa de los Muertos, arguably one of the prettiest beaches in Europe.

We will either walk or take a very short drive to the picturesque village of Agua Amarga, an enchanting place to have lunch overlooking the pretty bay.

We will return to the villa for our gentle Yin session and dinner around the pool.
After dinner we offer the option of a session of guided meditation.

Day 5 Wednesday

Juices, hot drinks and fruit served before yoga.

We begin our day with either Ashtanga or Vinyasa Flow yoga and after breakfast a second session of Beach Tennis. Lunch will be at the villa.

In the afternoon you have the option of a guided bike ride in the countryside around the villa or just relax around the pool, read a book or treat yourself to a little siesta in the sunshine.

After our late afternoon Yin practice we will go to the lively fishing port of Garrucha where we will visit several restaurants and bars sampling the best of the great variety of tapas on offer.

Day 6 Thursday

Celebrating the foods of India especially Rishikesh the birthplace of Yoga.

After your early morning yoga, we invite you to try Aloo Poori, a traditional Indian breakfast dish of potatoes in a savoury sauce served with a poori or deep fried bread.

Later in the morning you will take part in some fun informal games at the beach tennis club, followed by a refreshing session of paddleboard yoga.

In the afternoon take the opportunity to have a blissfully relaxing Indian Head Massage.

After the evening Yin session we will have a further chance to try some more delicious dishes from India. Manna, our cook for the evening, will be explaining and demonstrating various techniques of Indian cookery.

Day 7 Friday

Juices, hot drinks and fruit available before early morning Vinyasa Flow or Ashtanga yoga.

As this is the last full day of your Yoga and Beach Tennis holiday, we leave the choice of activity to the group.

Perhaps you would like a final beach tennis lesson or a fun mini tournament, a hike in the old mining area of Bedar, exploring the tunnels, experiencing the cooler montain air, and enjoying the spectacular elevated views, or take a cycle ride leaving from the villa and heading down to the beach with time for a swim, or alternatively simply relax on the beach or by the pool.

Lunch at the villa and late afternoon enjoy your final Yin yoga practice.

Our last nights dinner will be a paella and we would love for everyone to have a hand in helping to prepare this traditional Spanish dish.

Day 8 Saturday

“All good things must come to an end”. So after a final breakfast we will make our way to the airport, where we say goodbye, or even better: “Hasta Luego”.
